Downtown Mountain Home is active all year round with outdoor events and activities, like the Mountain Home Farmers Market, and many other themed gatherings. Mountain Home parks in the summer hold events and small outdoor concerts and all are invited to attend. If you are looking to go shopping, Mountain Home has it all. There are several gift shops and many craft, antique, and thrift stores not including the many modern chain and outdoor stores. You are sure to find unique items. If you are up for an hour's drive, visit Mountain View, Arkansas for a true traditional Ozark fun time. If that isn't enough, within a 30 minute drive of Teal Point are two 18-hole golf courses. Twin Lakes Golf Course is in Mountain Home 5 minutes from Teal Point. Big Creek Country Club is a Championship semi-private facility about 10 minutes away.
