Our Deluxe one bedroom, cottage #17, is a full housekeeping unit popular with vacationers and business people alike. It has a large open dining/living/kitchen area, a full bathroom with a whirlpool bathtub, and a large bedroom. In photo 7 above the sliding glass door on the left end of the wrap-around deck leads into the living area. The sliding glass door on the right leads into the dining area. The dining/living area is one open room. There is a view of Lake Norfork from both of the deck doors. The deck has a patio table set and there is a large BBQ grill just outside the kitchen door.
With central air conditioning and central heat, this cottage is comfortable year round. It is very popular with our guests who visit Lake Norfork in the fall. For those who want a cozy atmosphere, the wood-burning stove with its glass doors adds just the right touch. Watch the color cable TV, or just stare out at the lake from the couch which also serves as a sofa bed.
The kitchen is furnished with cookware, tableware, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator, and a range with an oven. The sink island has a view of the lake and also serves as a breakfast bar. Both vacationers and business people enjoy this unit because of its roomy design. When it comes time to stock the kitchen, grocery stores are only 10 minutes away in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
The full bathroom features a whirlpool tub. The bedroom has two queen beds and two dresser sets. With the sofa bed in the living room unit 17 sleeps up to six persons.
